IDID Unleashes 'High-End Rough Doll' Concept in First MV Teaser for 'PUSH BACK'
IDID, the new boy group born from Starship Entertainment's grand 'Debut’s Plan' project, has revealed their captivating 'High-End Rough Doll' charm, embodying freedom amidst chaos.
On the evening of November 12th, IDID officially released the first music video teaser for their upcoming digital single album 'PUSH BACK' through their official channels, heightening anticipation among fans. The teaser showcases a different yet subtly similar visual and mood compared to their first mini-album, 'I did it.', immediately capturing both eyes and ears.
The teaser features IDID members immersed in a trance-like free dance against a backdrop of striped banners adorned with star motifs. From members sporting caps and beanies to those layering long-sleeved shirts over short-sleeved tees, their fashion choices exude a youthful and vibrant energy.
IDID members move fluidly to the dynamic and addictive rhythm, showcasing powerful and unrestrained choreography. Contrasting the raw, rebellious mood, their energetic, synchronized 'killing parts' while shouting "Don’t push back" create a sense of grandeur, signaling their evolution into 'High-End Rough Dolls' and sparking curiosity about the album's world-building.
Prior to this, IDID had already hinted at a unique transformation through various promotional content. This included teaser videos highlighting ice in a fishbowl, musical instruments, and fish; a distinctive showcase poster and timetable; a logo video titled 'IDID IN CHAOS' featuring shattering ice objects; and the 'idid.zip' content that overwhelmed fan download capacities.
Recognized as all-around talented idols through Starship's 'Debut’s Plan', IDID completed their pre-debut in July and officially debuted on September 15th, achieving significant milestones including a win on a music show. Their debut album, 'I did it.', sold an impressive 441,524 copies in its first week alone.
Meanwhile, IDID's first digital single album 'PUSH BACK' is set to be released on November 20th at 6 PM KST on various music platforms. A comeback showcase will be held on the same day at 7:30 PM KST at the COEX outdoor square in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and will also be livestreamed on their official YouTube channel.
