Lee Seung-chul Gushes About Son-in-Law on 'Problem Child in House'
Singer Lee Seung-chul couldn't stop praising his son-in-law on the KBS2TV variety show 'Problem Child in House'.
Appearing on the show aired on the 13th, Lee Seung-chul, who recently saw his eldest daughter get married two days before the recording, shared that he shed tears due to the touching emotions.
While Lee Seung-chul has appeared on other shows portraying a friendly father to his second daughter, he viewed his relationship with his daughters and their marriages as separate matters. He expressed that he was eager for his daughters to get married.
"Honestly, I wanted my daughter to get married quickly. My son-in-law is such a great guy. We only dated for a year, but I knew he was the one," Lee Seung-chul said. "My son-in-law is incredibly frugal. He only owns three pairs of shoes and always gets up at 5 AM to prepare for his work. He also doesn't drink or smoke."
He continued, "He can drink, but he chooses not to. His tolerance is even higher than mine, which I liked even more." The singer also boasted about his son-in-law's height, saying, "My son-in-law is 188cm tall, about the same as Joo Woo-jae. My daughter also has long arms and legs, so I'm looking forward to their children." He further elaborated on his son-in-law's respectable character: "When my wife mentions liking an apartment in a certain neighborhood for the newlywed home, he researches it all night and prepares a 3-4 page briefing document. My wife was completely charmed by this."
"My son-in-law works at a law firm as an ESG management researcher. He's very trustworthy. I don't have a son, but I really wanted to entrust my daughter to him like a son," Lee Seung-chul added, repeatedly expressing his admiration.
