HYBE's global group &TEAM (AndTEAM) has officially announced their debut appearance on Japan's most iconic year-end music program, the '76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen'.

Members Eiji, Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki attended a press conference at the NHK Broadcast Center in Tokyo on December 14th, expressing their honor and excitement.

"It's a great honor to appear on 'Kohaku Uta Gassen,' which was one of our goals," the members stated. "We will do our best every moment to reach the hearts of our fans who have supported us for the past three years since our debut."

'Kohaku Uta Gassen,' broadcast annually on December 31st, is NHK's flagship year-end music festival, inviting artists who have garnered significant love throughout the year. Its unparalleled influence in viewership and buzz makes participation a testament to an artist's popularity in Japan.

&TEAM has had a remarkable year, achieving significant milestones. Their third single, 'Go in Blind,' surpassed one million cumulative shipments, earning them the 'Million' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). They also achieved a double crown on the Oricon charts, topping both the 'Weekly Combined Singles Ranking' and 'Weekly Singles Ranking' for the May 5th issue. The points accumulated from this achievement marked the highest for a male artist in the current year.

Their Korean debut album, 'Back to Life,' also achieved impressive sales, with over 1.22 million copies sold in the first week of its release (October 28th - November 3rd), dominating major music charts in both Korea and Japan. Notably, 'Back to Life' received the 'Double Platinum' certification from the RIAJ, despite being a Korean-language album, underscoring &TEAM's broad appeal. This marks a significant achievement, with all their physical releases to date earning certifications from the RIAJ.

Launched in Japan in 2022, &TEAM has steadily grown into a global artist. Last year alone, they released four albums and made over 300 appearances on Japanese television programs. Their widespread activities led them to rank first in Oricon's 'K-Pop & Global Group Recognition Survey' announced in May 2025.

Furthermore, &TEAM demonstrated their strong ticket-selling power during their first Asian tour, which concluded with encore performances on October 26th-27th. Concerts in major Asian cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, Taipei, Hyogo, and Hong Kong were sold out, attracting approximately 160,000 fans.

Korean netizens have reacted overwhelmingly positively to &TEAM's 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' announcement. Comments like "This is amazing! Finally Kohaku, a dream come true!" and "I'm looking forward to their future activities! Perform well!" filled online communities, celebrating the group's significant achievement.
