Jaurim's Kim Yoon-ah Reveals Desperation Behind 12th Album 'Life': "Poured Everything Out, Believing It Was the Last"

The legendary band Jaurim appeared on KBS2's music talk show 'The Seasons - 10CM's Kiss and Hug,' sharing their thoughts on promoting their 12th full-length album, 'Life.'

Kicking off with a powerful performance of their debut song 'Hey, Hey, Hey,' Jaurim, with their 29 years of experience, instantly captivated the studio audience.

During the show, vocalist Kim Yoon-ah opened up about the intense desperation she felt while working on the album 'Life.' She revealed, "There was a time when my health was so poor, I questioned if I could continue making music." She continued, "It was the first time I thought about how life could suddenly end." She confessed, "I poured absolutely everything into this album, with the mindset that if this were the last, I had to give it my all."

Kim Yoon-ah added, "I constantly pushed myself, telling myself, 'You can do better, give it your maximum effort.'" She introduced the 12th album 'Life' as "an album that contains all the musical experience, emotions, and density accumulated over the years," emphasizing its maximization of Jaurim's unique worldview and depth.

Previously, Kim Yoon-ah had disclosed her struggles with a congenital immune deficiency and sequelae from cranial nerve paralysis. On this episode, she also shared glimpses of her regained ordinary life, mentioning her cats, video games, and favorite foods, bringing comfort to fans.
