Jesse Lingard Reveals Reason for Joining K-League on 'I Live Alone': 'Touched by Long-Term Offer'

K-League superstar Jesse Lingard appeared on the MBC variety show ‘I Live Alone’ and candidly shared the reasons behind his decision to join the league.

During the show, Kian84 asked Lingard, “With so many big clubs out there, why did you come to the K-League?” Jeon Hyun-moo then posed the question in English on his behalf.

Lingard responded, “I received offers from various clubs in Europe and around the world for six months or a year. However, FC Seoul officials personally came all the way to Manchester to offer me a long-term contract,” revealing that FC Seoul had proposed a 2-year plus 1-year option.

He further added, “I was deeply touched that they flew over 12 hours just to see me,” expressing his sincere feelings for choosing the Korean league.
