Pop superstar Ariana Grande experienced a frightening encounter when a fan, identified as Johnson Wen, rushed the stage during the Singapore premiere of the film 'Wicked: For Good'. The incident has sparked concerns that it may have re-triggered past trauma for the singer.

According to foreign media reports on the 14th (local time), Grande was walking the yellow carpet with her co-stars when Wen, 26, suddenly approached her. Video footage from the event captured a visibly startled Grande turning around.

Johnson Wen was arrested for public disturbance following the incident but has since been released and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday. Reports indicate he has a history of similar disruptive behavior towards other celebrities.

The current incident has raised significant worry about Grande potentially experiencing symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), stemming from the tragic 2017 Manchester Arena bombing during her concert, which claimed 22 lives.

An insider told the outlet, "Ariana is trying to calm herself, but her mind automatically goes to the darkest place. It's never the same. When someone suddenly approaches or rushes at her, it's a trigger. Her mind immediately goes to the worst-case scenario, almost like PTSD."

Sources also stated, "Ariana still has panic attacks related to the terrorism back then. She wanted to quit everything and become a recluse." They added, "She was a victim then. She experiences the aftermath every single day."

Meanwhile, Wen posted a video and a message on his social media thanking Grande for the opportunity to 'jump on the yellow carpet with her,' further fueling controversy.

Fans expressed deep concern, with comments like, "So upset another incident like this happened," and "I hope she's okay. I really hope this doesn't make things harder for her." Many also reacted with anger, stating, "It's so infuriating that Ariana has to suffer again because of an inconsiderate fan."
