Singer JADU Returns to the Stage on 'Immortal Songs' After Overcoming Fraud Trauma

Singer JADU is set to grace the stage once again on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs,' marking her return after a period of hardship.

In the upcoming episode, the 731st installment featuring a special on Dr. Oh Eun-young, JADU will perform Kwon Jin-won's 'Saldadum' (As Life Goes On). Expressing her initial nerves, she stated, "It's been a while since I've been on stage, so I feel a bit pressured." She further revealed her intention behind the song choice: "I want to sing in a way that makes life feel worth living."

JADU, who had been unable to pursue her music career for an extended period due to suffering from fraud, shared her emotions on stage. "It’s been a long time since I've greeted you all. My life, like yours, has had its share of loss and crises. Though I haven’t overcome everything, I want to sing about life," she conveyed, delivering a powerful message.

Reflecting on her hiatus, JADU admitted, "While preparing for this stage, I confronted feelings I wanted to ignore. Looking back, I wondered why I ran away from a stage I loved so much." She added, "I feel like now is the time to face the stage." Offering words of self-encouragement, she said, "JADU, you were brave," touching the hearts of viewers.

Adding a humorous twist, the couple Eun Ga-eun & Park Hyun-ho expressed their desire to join JADU and band ONEWE in forming a co-ed group for the 'Gimcheon Gimbap Festival.' MC Kim Jun-hyun's witty remark about 'foil wrapping' lightened the mood, creating laughter.
