Singer Kim Jin-ho Remembers Late Wheesung with Deep Affection, Netizens Moved

Singer Kim Jin-ho has touched the hearts of fans by revealing his longing and deep affection for the late Wheesung, half a year after his passing.

On the 13th, Kim Jin-ho posted a memorial message on his social media, accompanied by a photo of Wheesung's grave, saying, "It's been a while. I missed you."

He wrote, "Fortunately, many people who remember you visit even on ordinary days, so there are always beautiful flowers," adding, "I think you liked the color red when you were alive, so I brought red flowers too."

Referencing the message inscribed on the tombstone, he calmly shared his thoughts: "'May you live a happy life in your next life.' I wondered if this life was unhappy and wanted to probe with a wicked heart, but I decided to let it go, thinking, 'Yes, if I'm reborn, I'll just live happier.'"

Kim Jin-ho expressed his profound sadness, saying, "I wonder what it would have been like if I had known about your departure in advance. Would I have moved up our promised camping trip? Would I have tried to prevent the impending misfortune like in a movie scene? Though nothing would have changed in any way."

He concluded by conveying his enduring love for the deceased: "It feels like half a year has passed so quickly, yet it also feels so slow that it hasn't been a full year yet. I'll see you again next year, hyung. Please rest comfortably without pain. I always love you."

Kim Jin-ho first met Wheesung through JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 2' in 2013, where he appeared as a contestant impersonating Wheesung and won. He later officially debuted under the name 'Jin-ho.' Their connection, stemming from 'Hidden Singer 2,' led him to become a guest at Wheesung's concerts, strengthening their bond. The late Wheesung passed away at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, on March 10th, at the age of 43.
