Lim Chang-jung's Wife, Seo Ha-yan, Opens Up About Raising Five Boys: 'My Eldest Son, Lim Chang-jung, Is the Most Challenging'

Seo Ha-yan, wife of singer Lim Chang-jung, has candidly shared the challenges of being a mother to five sons.

On the 15th, Seo Ha-yan uploaded a video titled 'Laundry With Seo Ha-yan (Real Ver.)' to her personal YouTube channel, revealing the daily reality of her household's laundry room, which operates 24/7, 365 days a year.

In the video, Seo Ha-yan expressed her surprise by stating, "I run the washing machine 365 days a year. Three times a day: whites, darks, and one more load before bed," highlighting the never-ending battle with laundry.

Seo Ha-yan, who married Lim Chang-jung in 2017, is raising his three sons from a previous marriage along with her own two sons, making it a household of five boys. She humorously shared the difficulties of managing such a large family, saying, "In our house, it's a big deal if underwear gets mixed up. They get upset if socks or underwear are mixed. So, we assign brands to avoid anyone feeling bad."

Among her five sons, Seo Ha-yan refers to her husband, Lim Chang-jung, as 'Son Number Zero,' joking, "Out of all of them, my eldest son (Lim Chang-jung) is the most challenging. He requires the most attention."

Despite these hardships, Seo Ha-yan expressed contentment with her current life: "I think this life is the life I dreamed of. If I hadn't gone through this, I wouldn't have known a mother's heart, and I believe you have to experience parenting yourself. Although I sometimes raise my voice and get angry with the children, I see it as a signal that I'm living well. I live thinking, 'I am happy right now. I am getting through this smoothly.'"
