Hong Jin-kyung Stunned by 'Bestie' Questions on 'Byeon-myeong Go' After Divorce Announcement

Broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung made her first appearance on the YouTube channel 'Tteun-tteun's 'Byeon-myeong Go' after her divorce announcement, showcasing her candid conversation skills.

In the video released on the 15th, Hong Jin-kyung sat down with her close friends Ji Suk-jin and Jo Se-ho for a chat with Yoo Jae-suk. This marked Hong Jin-kyung's first time on 'Byeon-myeong Go' since revealing her divorce after 22 years of marriage. She shared her determination, stating, "I decided before coming today that if I had to hold back and say 'I can't talk about this,' I'd rather not come at all. That's why I couldn't come earlier because I wasn't ready to talk about it."

She continued with confidence, "Now, I feel I can talk about things," encouraging her friends, "If you have any questions, please ask me anything." However, Yoo Jae-suk and Ji Suk-jin seemed taken aback, responding, "We don't actually have any questions..." which elicited laughter.

Ultimately, Ji Suk-jin posed a direct question, "Wasn't there any trouble with the property division?" to which Hong Jin-kyung could only react with surprise. Yoo Jae-suk apologized on his behalf, saying, "Are you talking about property division in the morning? I'm sorry to our guest who hasn't been here in a while."

Later, Jo Se-ho brought up the 'political controversy' that arose from Hong Jin-kyung's social media posts during last year's presidential election season, asking, "Which party do you truly support?" Hong Jin-kyung responded, "When I meet people from this party, what they say makes sense, and when I meet people from that party, their points are valid. It's not just good or just bad, is it? Like our lives. I truly love everyone," she explained, clarifying the situation at the time.

Hong Jin-kyung added that the posts were made while she was on a business trip in Northern Europe and she hadn't grasped the time difference and situation in Korea. Hong Jin-kyung married a businessman five years her senior in 2003 and has a daughter, but announced her divorce this past August.
