Rookie Group AHOF Clinches Two Awards at '2025 KGMA', Crowned 'Rookie of the Year'
Rookie group AHOF has solidified its position as the top rookie of 2025.
Comprised of Steven, Seo Jung-woo, Cha Woong-ki, Zhang Shuai-bo, Park Han, JL, Park Ju-won, Zuen, and Daisuke, AHOF graced the stage at the ‘2025 Korea Grand Music Awards with iM Bank’ (hereafter ‘2025 KGMA’) held at the Incheon Inspire Arena on the 15th, securing two prestigious awards.
Earlier, AHOF was recognized for their debut track ‘Rendezvous’ in the pre-announced Best Dance Performance category. They went on to win the IS Rookie Award at the main ceremony, bringing home two trophies from the ‘2025 KGMA’.
This achievement marks AHOF as the definitive ‘2025 Top Rookie’ just four months after their debut, acknowledging their active promotions and musical prowess throughout the year.
Upon receiving their awards, AHOF expressed their gratitude: "We sincerely thank the KGMA officials for inviting us to this grand stage. It's an honor just to perform in front of so many K-pop fans, and receiving awards feels like a dream." They also addressed their fans, FOHA, stating, "Thanks to you, every day feels like a dream. We promise to repay your love with even better performances, so let's stay together forever."
Beyond the awards, AHOF elevated the ceremony's atmosphere with their captivating performances. They kicked off the show with ‘We Ready’, the title track from their survival program. Following this, they presented a powerful yet poignant stage with their new song ‘Pinocchio Hates Lies’, enhanced by a dynamic dance break.
For the second part, AHOF delivered a special stage, reimagining senior group BIGBANG's hit ‘BANG BANG BANG’ with their unique flair, eliciting an explosive response from the audience. Through this cover performance, AHOF created a moment where artists and fans alike became one through music, proving their title as Best Dance Performance winners with their flawless synchronized choreography and steady live vocals.
Netizens are flooding online communities with comments such as, 'They're rookies but already achieving this much, amazing!', 'I watched the KGMA just for AHOF's performance, and they didn't disappoint!', and 'As a FOHA member, I'm so proud! I'm even more excited for their future activities!'
