Jay Park has shared a significant personal message following the controversy surrounding his performance at a breast cancer awareness event.

On the 15th, Jay Park posted on his social media account, "I just mind my business, try to do cool shit will cool ppl, and live life productively ♥ gratitude." Along with the message, he uploaded several photos capturing his daily life, including traveling for schedules, resting at home, and working out.

The post, released without prior explanation, is presumed to be a response to the recent backlash and malicious comments he has received.

Last month, on the 15th, Jay Park performed his hit song 'MOMMAE' at the 20th Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign event. However, the song, known for its sexually suggestive lyrics, drew criticism for being inappropriate for a charity event aimed at raising awareness for breast cancer.

W Korea, the organizer of the event, initially uploaded videos featuring Jay Park's performance and celebrity attendees enjoying the show. However, due to a flood of negative comments expressing discomfort, such as "It looks like mocking breast cancer patients," the videos were eventually deleted.

Jay Park himself issued an apology the day after the event, stating, "If any cancer patients felt offended or uncomfortable after watching my performance, I apologize. I wish you good health. Fighting!" He also added, "I performed diligently at no charge with good intentions, even while injured. Please do not misuse that good intention." He further clarified, "When I said not to misuse it, I was asking those who were trying to create issues out of these well-intentioned actions. Please do not misunderstand."

Following his explanation, while some public opinion shifted to defending Jay Park, with comments like "Jay Park was just performing," criticism persisted, stating, "Selecting a song inappropriate for the event's purpose, knowing its theme, was problematic." Amidst this, Jay Park's latest post, implying he will focus on his own business, has garnered supportive messages from fans.

Fans are rallying behind Jay Park, leaving comments such as "Stay strong!" and "Always supporting you!" on his recent post. Some netizens also commented, "The stage outfit and song choice were regrettable, but his music is still great."
