Comedian Kim Soo-yong Collapses During YouTube Shoot, Hospitalized in ICU

Broadcaster and comedian Kim Soo-yong has collapsed and lost consciousness while filming a YouTube content, and is currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit.

The incident occurred on the 14th during a YouTube shoot at a location in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province. Kim Soo-yong suddenly collapsed on set.

Colleagues and staff present at the scene immediately administered first aid and contacted emergency services. Firefighter paramedics arrived and performed CPR before transporting him to Hanyang University Guri Hospital.

Kim Soo-yong has since regained consciousness and is breathing. He has been moved to the ICU for further observation and treatment. Additional tests are scheduled to determine his condition and the subsequent course of treatment.

Kim Soo-yong debuted in 1991 through KBS's 1st University Gag Contest. He has been actively engaging with fans through his YouTube channel recently. The sudden news has concerned many.

Fans have expressed shock and concern, with comments such as, "I was so surprised to hear this sudden news," and "I hope he recovers quickly and we can see him on broadcast again."
