Global group &TEAM, under HYBE, is set to make their first appearance at the prestigious NHK 'Kohaku Uta Gassen', Japan's most celebrated year-end music program, marking a significant milestone just three years after their debut.

The nine-member group – EJ, Fuma, K, Nicholas, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki – attended the press conference for the '76th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen' held at the NHK Broadcasting Center in Tokyo on December 14th. &TEAM expressed their honor, stating, "It is an honor to be invited to 'Kohaku Uta Gassen', which was one of our goals. We will do our best to convey our gratitude to our fans who have supported us for the past three years."

Broadcast annually on December 31st, 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' is NHK's flagship music event, inviting artists who have achieved immense popularity throughout the year. Participation is widely regarded as a testament to an artist's significant standing and influence in the Japanese music scene.

&TEAM has experienced a remarkable year. Their third single, 'Go in Blind', surpassed one million cumulative shipments, earning them the 'Million' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) as of July 2025. They also topped both the 'Weekly Combined Singles Ranking' and 'Weekly Singles Ranking' on the Oricon charts (as of May 5th), achieving a double crown. The points accumulated from this release marked the highest for any male artist in 2025.

Their Korean debut album, 'Back to Life', recorded impressive sales of over 1.22 million copies in its first week (October 28th - November 3rd), dominating major music charts in both South Korea and Japan. Notably, 'Back to Life' received a 'Double Platinum' certification from the RIAJ in Japan, despite being a Korean-language album. This achievement means that all physical albums released by &TEAM, from their debut to the present, have been certified by the RIAJ.

Launched in Japan in 2022, &TEAM has steadily grown into a global act. Last year alone, they released four albums and appeared on Japanese music programs over 300 times. Their widespread popularity was further solidified when they ranked first in Oricon's 'K-Pop/Global Group Recognition Survey' announced in May 2025.

The group also showcased their strong ticket-selling power during their first Asia tour, which concluded with encore performances in Tokyo on October 26th-27th. Their concerts in major Asian cities including Tokyo, Bangkok, Fukuoka, Seoul, Jakarta, Taipei, Hyogo, and Hong Kong were sold out, attracting a total audience of approximately 160,000 fans.

Fans are expressing immense pride and excitement over &TEAM's 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' announcement. Comments include, "So proud of &TEAM for making it to Kohaku!", "This is the result of their hard work since debut", and "Their future looks even brighter."
