Singer-Songwriter Ahn Ye-eun Appointed Ambassador for Korea Foundation for Heart Disease Prevention

Singer-songwriter Ahn Ye-eun has been appointed as the new ambassador for the Korea Foundation for Heart Disease Prevention.

Ahn Ye-eun was officially appointed as an ambassador for the foundation on the 15th at the 'Step Forward for Heart Disease Prevention 2025 Walking Competition' held at the Open Plaza of Seoul Children's Grand Park.

The 'Step Forward for Heart Disease Prevention Walking Competition' is an event designed to raise awareness about the importance of heart disease prevention and to support patients suffering from heart conditions. This year marked the 14th iteration of the event, featuring a congratulatory performance by Ahn Ye-eun and various programs such as CPR and first aid experience booths, which saw enthusiastic participation from citizens.

In response to her appointment, Ahn Ye-eun shared her thoughts via official SNS: "It is a great honor to become an ambassador for the Korea Foundation for Heart Disease Prevention. I have often shared stories related to heart disease throughout my career, and I am happy to be able to lend my support as an ambassador. I wish everyone good health."

Ahn Ye-eun herself has undergone five heart surgeries due to congenital heart disease and has consistently donated to the Korea Foundation for Heart Disease Prevention. Her fandom has also continued to make donations in her name, spreading positive influence. As an ambassador, Ahn Ye-eun plans to engage in meaningful activities with the foundation moving forward.

Meanwhile, Ahn Ye-eun is scheduled to hold her annual solo concert, 'The 9th Otaku-risumasu', on December 14th at Baekam Art Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This concert, held every year since 2017, is known for its unique concept where Ahn Ye-eun personally arranges and performs fans' song requests, often with special costumes. This year's performance will feature a collaboration with the Yeonhee performance group 'Chulhot', promising a spectacular show. The concert proved Ahn Ye-eun's significant ticket-selling power once again, with all seats selling out within one minute of ticket opening.
