'Street Woman Fighter 3' Winning Crew 'Osaka Ojogeon' Announces Disbandment
Osaka Ojogeon, the sensational winning crew of Mnet's 'World of Street Woman Fighter' (Swoopa 3), has officially announced their disbandment.
Kyoka, a member of the crew, shared the news through a statement posted on her social media on the 16th, written in Korean, Japanese, and English.
"We will be concluding our team activities as Osaka Ojogeon with our performance in Suwon on November 22nd and will be disbanding," Kyoka announced. She added, "All seven members have discussed extensively and reached an agreement regarding team structure adjustments and future direction."
Kyoka further explained that Osaka Ojogeon was formed specifically for 'World of Street Woman Fighter 3.' "The six members will conclude all activities after the November 22nd performance and will graduate from the team on the same day."
"While our journey as Osaka Ojogeon ends here, each member will move forward to shine on their own stages," she stated. "We deeply apologize for causing concern and anxiety to our fans and stakeholders due to these circumstances."
Meanwhile, Osaka Ojogeon, the champions of 'Swoopa 3,' had been embroiled in internal conflicts concerning issues such as unpaid earnings between leader Ibuki and the six other members, as well as alleged misconduct and embezzlement by their manager.
Korean netizens reacted with comments like, "It's a shame, but I'll cheer for each member's individual activities," "So it's ending like this after all," and "It seems like they've parted ways well, given the team's troubled past."
