Former dancer and actor Cha Hyun-seung has shared an update on his battle with leukemia, maintaining his signature bright energy and sending a message of hope to his fans.
On the 16th, Cha Hyun-seung posted a "MZ vibe selfie" taken by himself in the hospital on his social media. The revealed photos show him sitting on a hospital bed at Korea University Hospital, wearing headphones and looking at his laptop screen. His shaved head, patient gown, and visible tattoos on his arm were all apparent.
Along with the photos, Cha Hyun-seung wrote a heartfelt message: "This round of chemotherapy is the hardest, but I'm enduring. Little by little, slowly, I will overcome until the very end!"
In a recently uploaded Q&A video, he candidly shared his initial confusion and emotions during the early stages of his treatment. Regarding the moment he awaited his bone marrow test results, he confessed, "I didn't expect good news." He added, "At first, I felt numb, like I was tidying things up, but now I'm pumping myself up and regaining my resolve."
He continued, "My body is recovering a lot. Mental strength is the most important. It's a matter of mindset." He concluded by saying, "There are so many things I want to do. I want to act, I want to travel. Everyone, please take good care of your health."
Meanwhile, Cha Hyun-seung gained recognition as a cast member on Netflix's 'Single's Inferno' before transitioning to an acting career. Since his leukemia diagnosis, he has been focusing on treatment and consistently sharing his journey.
