Enjoy Couple's Im La-ra and Son Min-soo Reveal Twin Names: Son Kang and Son Dan

YouTube couple Im La-ra and Son Min-soo, known as 'Enjoy Couple', have finally revealed the names of their newborn twins.

In a video uploaded on the 16th, the couple shared the story behind choosing the names 'Son Kang' and 'Son Dan' for their son and daughter, who were previously called by their nicknames 'Raki' and 'Ttuki'.

Son Min-soo expressed the difficulties in choosing names, mentioning he sought help from numerology expert Professor Kim Dong-wan. He said, "Choosing a name was so hard. Isn't it best to think of a few names we like, call them by the names after they're born, and pick the one that fits the child?"

After meeting Professor Kim, Im La-ra explained that while many supported the name 'Dankyeol', she personally wanted names that felt global. After registering the births, the couple revealed the twins' official names: 'Son Kang' for the boy (previously Ttuki) and 'Son Dan' for the girl (previously Raki).

Im La-ra elaborated on the choices, saying, "Kang-i (Ttuki) doesn't look like a 'Gyeol' (from Dankyeol). He looks more like a 'Kang'. Calling him 'Kang-a' feels much more fitting. And Dan-i (Raki) truly looked like a 'Dan' right from the first moment I saw her face."

The couple added, "We are quite indecisive, so we thought it would be good for our children to live with fortitude ('Gangdan' in Korean). And we've gained fortitude ourselves," with Son Min-soo concluding, "Thanks to the children, our lives have changed too." They asked for the public's affection for 'Kang-dan'.

Im La-ra and Son Min-soo welcomed their twins on the 14th of last month. However, Im La-ra experienced a postpartum hemorrhage and required intensive care shortly after childbirth.
