Lee Jang-woo Reveals He Mistook Ham Eun-jung's Marriage News for Pregnancy News

Actor Lee Jang-woo shared a surprising anecdote about hearing the news of his former virtual wife, Ham Eun-jung's, marriage.

On November 16th, a video titled 'We Got Married (Separately) (feat. Friendship Couple Lee Jang-woo)' was uploaded to Ham Eun-jung's YouTube channel. The clip showed Ham Eun-jung and Lee Jang-woo, who previously starred as a virtual couple on MBC's 'We Got Married', reuniting at the restaurant where they first met 14 years ago.

During their reunion after a long time, they congratulated each other on their upcoming weddings and shared updates on their lives. Lee Jang-woo revealed that he first heard about Ham Eun-jung's marriage from his mother.

"I was working when my mom suddenly said, 'Hey! Eun-jung is getting married!' and I was so surprised," he recalled. "I thought it was a false report because I was filming a drama and hadn't even matched with the director."

He continued, "I thought, 'Is she pregnant? Mom must think Eun-jung is pregnant.' I was worried because I had a drama to film. Even though you said it wasn't true, I doubted it for a while."

Ham Eun-jung responded with a laugh, "That blessing hasn't found me yet. I have to film a drama from next week until July next year, so I had to get married this year. The drama team even told me to get married quickly if I wanted to have kids. I'm born in '88, so it's a late pregnancy."

Meanwhile, Ham Eun-jung is set to marry director Kim Byung-woo on November 30th. Lee Jang-woo is also preparing to tie the knot with actress Jo Hye-won on November 23rd, after an 8-year relationship.
