Bae Jung-nam Recalls Shocking Incident During Dog Walk, Netizens Express Sympathy
Actor Bae Jung-nam has revealed a disturbing experience he had while walking his dog, leaving viewers stunned.
Appearing on the SBS show ‘My Little Old Boy’ on the 16th, Bae Jung-nam cautiously shared a harrowing tale from his past after a shaman mentioned, “There’s a grandfather beside you.”
He recalled, “At first, I thought someone was exercising in the forest,” and described the moment he froze after looking back while walking his dog. “I called 119, and they told me to quickly release the leash,” he said. “I hesitated at first, but they asked for help, so I tried.”
Bae Jung-nam recounted, “Because of the dog’s weight, the leash wouldn’t come undone. I was going crazy.” He added, “Eventually, paramedics arrived and resolved the situation, but it was a significant ordeal.”
He further shared, “I moved to this neighborhood because of my dog, Bell. I couldn’t give up that walking path for Bell,” revealing that he poured soju and makgeolli at the spot for 49 days and even buried travel money in the ground afterward.
During the broadcast, the shaman also spoke about Bell, Bae Jung-nam's beloved dog who passed away a month prior. The shaman advised, “The puppy took all the bad energy with her when she left. Please send us any remaining fur you have at home,” adding that Bae Jung-nam had experienced pet loss syndrome after Bell’s passing.
Korean netizens reacted with shock and sympathy, commenting, 'How scared must Bae Jung-nam have been?', 'So sad,' and 'I hope Bell has gone to a good place.' Many expressed understanding for his grief over pet loss.
