Lim Young-woong's Fan Club 'Hero Generation Band' Surpasses 100 Million Won in Cumulative Donations

The fan club of singer Lim Young-woong, 'Hero Generation Band (Sharing Group),' is bringing warmth and touching many hearts as their cumulative donations have surpassed 100 million won through consistent acts of kindness.

On the 14th, Hero Generation Band volunteered to prepare and deliver lunchboxes for residents of cramped housing areas at the Catholic Love Peace House in Dongin-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The group prepared ingredients worth 1.5 million won to make and distribute the meals, practicing their spirit of sharing.

This volunteer activity, the 78th since its start in May 2020, marked a significant milestone, pushing their total cumulative donations past the 100 million won mark. The Catholic Love Peace House presented Hero Generation Band with a plaque of appreciation, expressing their gratitude for the long-standing and consistent support and volunteer work.

The group's charitable efforts began through a connection with a Catholic member and now involve 25 regular volunteers. Despite differences in religion and background, they are united by their passion to 'emulate Lim Young-woong's heart and honor his name.'

Hero Generation Band diligently prepares and delivers lunchboxes at the Catholic Love Peace House every second Thursday of the month, a commitment they have maintained for four years. A representative from Hero Generation Band shared, 'Although it's challenging volunteer work starting early in the morning, the happiness we feel after conveying warm love to someone is greater than any reward. We will continue to practice neighborly love and sharing in the future.'
