Rookie boy group CORTIS (members: Martin, James, Junghoon, Sung Hyun, Gunho) is capturing the attention of the Japanese music market with unprecedented enthusiasm.

The group is set to appear on Nippon TV's popular music program, ‘with MUSIC’, on the 22nd. During the broadcast, CORTIS will perform their debut album's intro track, ‘GO!’, which has dominated the Japanese Spotify 'Daily Viral Song' chart for five consecutive days (September 11-14), showcasing their immense popularity.

Prior to this television appearance, CORTIS concluded a packed week of diverse activities in Japan, marking their first-ever encounter with local fans on a grand scale. They made a powerful debut on stage at the ‘MUSIC EXPO LIVE 2025’ held at the Tokyo Dome on September 3rd. Following this, they held a successful solo showcase at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo on September 5th. The event garnered significant media attention, with Japan's five major sports newspapers – Daily Sports, Sankei Sports, Sports Hochi, Sports Nippon, and Nikkan Sports – dedicating prominent coverage to the group. Headlines such as 'The group inheriting the legacy of BTS and TXT' and 'GO! all the way to the stadium!' highlighted the high expectations and interest surrounding CORTIS.

The group's rising popularity has also led to a flood of invitations from broadcast stations. In addition to the upcoming ‘with MUSIC’ episode, CORTIS has confirmed appearances on TBS’s ‘CDTV Live! Live!’ and Nippon TV's ‘Buzz Rhythm 02’, among other popular music shows. They have also been featured in over 10 news programs and radio shows, including Nippon TV’s ‘ZIP!’, demonstrating an exceptionally busy schedule for a rookie group.

Meanwhile, CORTIS is scheduled to perform at the halftime show of the South Korean national football team's A-match against Ghana, held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on October 18th, where they are expected to further electrify the atmosphere with their dynamic performance.

Japanese fans are reacting enthusiastically, with comments like 'Korean rookies are already a hit in Japan!' and 'The song GO! is really good, I can't wait for the live performance!'. Some netizens added, 'It's amazing they're already featured in Japan's top 5 sports newspapers,' and 'Next stop, Billboard domination!'.
