'Immortal Songs' Announces Star-Studded Year-End Special: 'Trot Kingdom, Game of Thrones'

A fierce battle for the trot throne is set to unfold at the year's end on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs'.

OSEN exclusively learned on the 17th that the year-end special, titled 'Trot Kingdom, Game of Thrones,' will hold its recording session on the 24th. This special episode promises dazzling performances from top trot artists vying for the ultimate crown, offering viewers a spectacular holiday treat.

Adding to the excitement, Lee Chan-won, who captivated audiences with his witty hosting and won the KBS Entertainment Grand Prize last year, has thrown his hat into the ring for the 'Trot Kingdom' title. Alongside him, the lineup boasts an impressive roster including Son Tae-jin, Shin Shin-ae, Lee Juk-sa, Hwanhee, Cheon Rok-dam, Chun-gil, Heo Kyung-hwan & Giant Pink, Lee Chang-min, Kim Soo-chan, Kim Jun-su, Yoon Soo-hyun, Shin Sung, Na Sang-do, Son Bin-ah, Kim Da-hyun, Hwang Min-ho, and the crossover group Liberante. 'Immortal Songs' has solidified its status as a premier music entertainment show in Korea, boasting a history of over 700 episodes. Its recent broadcast on the 15th, a special dedicated to Dr. Oh Eun-young, garnered a 5.4% viewership rating nationwide (Nielsen Korea), topping its time slot and reaffirming the show's enduring popularity.
