NewJeans to Continue Activities with ADOR Amidst Legal Action Against Malicious Comments

Following the announcement that NewJeans members will continue their activities with their agency ADOR, ADOR has declared a firm stance against malicious commenters and purveyors of fake news.

On the 17th, ADOR stated in an official press release, "Since NewJeans' debut to the present, we have been constantly monitoring domestic and international online communities, music sites, and social media channels. We have been swiftly requesting the removal of posts infringing upon the artists' rights and taking strict legal action."

Recognizing the escalating severity of malicious fake news, privacy violations, and the use of insults and derogatory terms, ADOR has deployed additional personnel for focused evidence collection. They plan to file criminal complaints against individuals who have posted malicious content online. Furthermore, based on additional evidence gathered, they intend to pursue further legal actions periodically.

ADOR emphasized their particularly stringent approach to deepfake offenses. They revealed that recent requests for settlement from deepfake perpetrators were rejected, and their intent for severe punishment has been conveyed to investigative authorities. ADOR is actively cooperating with law enforcement to eradicate deepfake crimes targeting artists.

Previously, members Haerin and Hyein decided to adhere to their exclusive contracts and continue activities with ADOR. Minji, Hanni, and Danielle also expressed their intent to return. ADOR stated they are coordinating individual meetings with the members to facilitate smooth discussions.

ADOR concluded by urging fans for their continued interest and reports, stating that fan cooperation is invaluable in legal proceedings. They encouraged active reporting through the 'HYBE Artist Rights Infringement Reporting Center' regarding any infringements on artists' rights.
