The Federation of Korean Music Content Industry (FKMC) has officially filed a lawsuit against nCH Entertainment, accusing them of defamation, spreading false information, and obstruction of business related to the upcoming 'Dream Concert in Hong Kong.' The FKMC announced on November 17th that despite close collaboration with Prompter Entertainment, the organizer of the event, nCH Entertainment, a contracted agency for MBC, has caused significant disruption.

According to the FKMC's statement, nCH has been disseminating falsehoods to Korean K-pop artists and major agencies through MBC. These false claims include allegations that the Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) was reserved for MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on February 7-8, 2026, and that the venue booking dates secured by Dream Concert are non-existent. Furthermore, nCH has allegedly been creating confusion by telling artists and agencies that 'KTSP will be ours.'

The FKMC highlighted that nCH received an official confirmation email from KTSP on October 13th stating that the venue was unavailable for those dates and was already booked by 'Changsha.' Despite this, nCH continued to spread misinformation, prompting KTSP to reiterate the venue's unavailability via official document on November 12th.

This situation has caused considerable confusion among artist agencies, hindering the normal process of artist invitations and contract negotiations. The FKMC stated they had provided all official supporting documents to relevant parties, including artist agencies, MBC, and nCH, and even presented them during a face-to-face meeting with MBC officials. However, MBC reportedly only reiterated their stance, asking to wait for nCH to verify the situation in Hong Kong.

Consequently, due to the substantial damages caused by nCH's repeated actions, Prompter Entertainment has filed a formal criminal complaint with the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul on charges of spreading false information, defamation, and obstruction of business. The FKMC emphasized their commitment to ensuring the successful and timely execution of the 'Dream Concert in Hong Kong' project, assuring that artist invitations are proceeding smoothly and that all parties maintain trust in the organizers.

Korean netizens expressed frustration over nCH Entertainment's alleged actions, with comments like "I'm angry at nCH Entertainment's excessive behavior," and "I hope the Dream Concert Hong Kong proceeds successfully." Many wished for the truth to be revealed to prevent any further damage.
