
Son Yeon-jae Reveals Plans for Second Child, Discusses Fitness Goals
Former rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae has garnered attention by revealing her plans for a second child, alongside her dedication to maintaining her fitness.
On the 17th, Son Yeon-jae uploaded a video titled 'VLOG November for 32-year-old Mom Yeon-jae.. Eating Well and Living the Good Life Diligently' to her YouTube channel. The video showcased her daily life balancing childcare and exercise.
"When my son Jun-yeon sleeps early, I try to use that time for exercise," Son Yeon-jae shared as she changed into workout clothes and began stretching. She completed a minimal routine including squats, lunges, and band arm exercises. "I really dislike strength training, but I do the minimum required," she honestly confessed. "It would be great if I could do the StairMaster, but most days I can't."
She also opened up about her plans for a second child. "Because I have plans for a second child, my goal is to increase my muscle mass from the current 19kg to 20-21kg and reach a body weight of 50kg," she stated. Her current weight is 48kg. She added that her recently measured height is 165.7cm. "I'm sure about having a second child, so I'm planning to start managing my diet again. Figuring out how to get enough protein is my biggest concern," she said.
Meanwhile, Son Yeon-jae married a finance professional nine years her senior in September 2022 and welcomed her first son, Jun-yeon, in February of last year. She expressed her affection for her son in the video description, writing, "Among many daily activities, the days I play with Jun-yeon are the most fun."
