Comedian Kim Soo-yong Recovers After On-Set Collapse, Shares Update with Signature Wit

Comedian Kim Soo-yong, who collapsed and received CPR during a filming session, has personally shared an update on his condition with his characteristic humor.

On the 17th, fellow comedian Yoon Suk-joo posted on his social media expressing his surprise and concern upon hearing the news and wishing his senior well. He also revealed a conversation he had with Kim Soo-yong to ease fans' worries.

When Yoon Suk-joo asked, "Are you okay, hyung? I'm worried," Kim Soo-yong wittily replied, "Fortunately, I didn't die. I died and came back to life." Yoon Suk-joo joked back, "My condolence money is saved, yay!" to which Kim Soo-yong responded, "Too bad," continuing the lighthearted exchange.

Kim Soo-yong had suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed on the afternoon of the 14th while filming a YouTube content in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. Colleagues and staff on-site immediately administered first aid, and emergency responders performed CPR before he was urgently transported to Hanyang University Hospital in Guri.

His agency, Media Lab Siso, stated, "Kim Soo-yong has received treatment and has fully regained consciousness. His condition is currently stable, and we are doing our best for his speedy recovery."
