Trot Queen Song Ga-in Reveals Health Check-up Results, Discovers Polyp

Trot sensation Song Ga-in, known for her petite 45kg frame, has shared the results of her recent health examination, revealing the discovery of a polyp during a colonoscopy.

The revelation came in a video uploaded on the 17th to Song Ga-in's official YouTube channel, titled 'Song Ga-in & Kwon Hyuk-soo, Who Even Greeted Parents, First-Ever Reveal of Their Dating Rumor Behind-the-Scenes! (ft. Song Ga-in's Ideal Type)'.

In the video, broadcaster Kwon Hyuk-soo, a fellow 1986-born 'donggapnae' (same-year friends), appeared as a guest, showcasing his signature lively chemistry with Song Ga-in. Their acquaintance began on the entertainment show 'SNL', with Kwon recalling how Song Ga-in, despite her initial worries, performed brilliantly during the live broadcast.

Kwon also shared a heartwarming anecdote, mentioning that his mother is a member of Song Ga-in's fan club, 'Again'. He expressed his gratitude for Song Ga-in inviting his mother to one of her concerts.

When the production team playfully hinted at a potential romance between the two, Song Ga-in humorously dismissed it, saying, 'A fling? We'd probably fight a lot,' highlighting their sibling-like rapport. Discussing ideal types, Kwon described his preference for someone like actress Park Bo-young, while Song Ga-in comically described herself as having a 'raw makgeolli, tidal flat, muddy water' vibe, leading to much laughter.

Most notably, Song Ga-in disclosed her health concern. 'I had a health check-up two days ago. I underwent colon and stomach endoscopies, and they found one polyp in my colon. And I don't even drink alcohol,' she revealed, surprising viewers.
