Actor Lee Jong-suk's highly anticipated fan meeting in Manila has been abruptly canceled due to unforeseen circumstances related to local demonstrations.

The event, scheduled for November 30th at the Araneta Coliseum, was part of his '2025 LEE JONG SUK ASIA FANMEETING TOUR [With: Just Like This]'.

His agency, A.MAN Project (formerly Ace Factory), announced the cancellation via official channels, citing safety concerns. "After careful consideration, prioritizing the safety of fans, the artist, and all staff, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event due to a planned protest on the same date," the statement read.

The agency extended a sincere apology to fans who were looking forward to the meeting and expressed hope for a future opportunity to connect with his Filipino fanbase.

This cancellation comes amidst ongoing large-scale protests in the Philippines against alleged corruption in the government's flood control projects, which has led to concerns about public safety and event security.

Lee Jong-suk recently concluded stops in Tokyo, Osaka, and Taipei for his Asia tour and is slated to appear in the upcoming Disney+ original series 'The Remarried Empress'.

Fans expressed disappointment online, with comments like "So sad, I was really looking forward to it," and "Safety first, so I understand," alongside well wishes for the actor's future endeavors.
