On the 18th, Kang Sung-yeon shared photos on her Instagram showing her son receiving medical attention in a hospital bed, along with clear red pressure marks on his ankles. The visible injuries suggested the seriousness of the incident.
She expressed her unfiltered rage, stating, "Regarding the true apology that must be delivered to the party who suffered unilateral damage! Ah, I'm so angry." She added, "My Gwanggyo Cafe Street is calming my boiling anger… I really don't want to move," revealing her affection for her healing space amidst the difficult situation.
The photos displayed multiple circular marks on her ankles, appearing as if they were caused by prolonged exposure to strong pressure. Her son was seen receiving treatment on a hospital bed, sparking deep concern among fans. The terms 'unilateral damage' and 'apology' hinted that her child had suffered due to someone else's carelessness or mistake.
Kang Sung-yeon later explained the situation in the comments, "As my child was coming home from school, another child from the same class blocked his path, saying they wouldn't let him go to his academy. In trying to avoid them, he fell and fractured a ligament."
Currently active in broadcasting and other activities, Kang Sung-yeon is reportedly preparing to move. She married pianist Kim Ga-on in 2012 and has two sons, but the couple announced their divorce in December 2023.
