From comedian Lee Su-ji to actor Jung Joon-won, a lineup of trending stars has come together for MBC's new variety show, 'Alba-ro Vacance' (Working Holiday).

Set to premiere on the 19th, 'Alba-ro Vacance' is a reality program that explores the concept of a 'dream-fulfilling working + holiday,' where participants immerse themselves in local life and overcome joyful adversities. The first cast members to embark on this journey are Lee Su-ji, Jung Joon-won, Kang Yoo-seok, and Kim Ah-young. They traveled to Zanzibar, Tanzania, in September for a unique experience.

With their distinct charms, the four individuals worked together, navigating challenges and showcasing fantastic chemistry, promising a novel form of entertainment for viewers. The strengthened camaraderie forged through shared hardship, the tear-jerking friendship of youth, and the cast members' personal highlights are highly anticipated.

Before the behind-the-scenes stories that deeply resonated with the 'Alba-z' members are revealed, the production team has shared their candid thoughts through a Q&A session.

Regarding her 'working' experience in Tanzania, Lee Su-ji shared, "I had exciting experiences while doing new jobs and created many happy memories enjoying a vacation-like rest." She added, "Every moment felt new, with the anticipation of not knowing what the day would bring. I actually felt comforted by the time spent there."

Jung Joon-won noted, "Usually, when traveling, it's easy to stick to tourist spots. What was impressive this time was being able to connect with locals in places that are difficult for tourists to access while working." He continued, "It wasn't just simple sightseeing; I gained a sense of accomplishment through the experience of integrating into the local daily life."

Kang Yoo-seok also expressed the significance of the experience: "It was particularly meaningful to integrate into their daily lives by working part-time locally in Zanzibar, Tanzania, a place not easily visited normally." He stated, "The time spent working and communicating with locals in an unfamiliar environment, truly feeling the local life, was the most impressive and special experience."

Kim Ah-young recalled, "I had a fantasy about Africa, wanting to visit for my honeymoon, and I truly encountered many fantastic moments." She added, "By doing various part-time jobs and communicating with the people of that country, I felt their culture, so unlike previous trips, I saw and heard much more."

When asked about their 'dream' moments being fulfilled, Lee Su-ji chose a safari tour, Jung Joon-won and Kang Yoo-seok highlighted the grand nature, and Kim Ah-young pointed to extreme situations and new challenges, expressing satisfaction as if they had fulfilled personal bucket lists.

Discussing their chemistry, Lee Su-ji said, "We didn't feel the need to 'adjust' to each other. We naturally showed consideration and harmony, and it was comfortable and enjoyable just being together. It felt like I gained three dependable younger siblings." Jung Joon-won commented, "Everyone I was with was kind and considerate, so it was happiness just being together. It reinforced the saying that 'who you go with' is more important than 'where you go.'"

Kang Yoo-seok found Jung Joon-won to be "much more cheerful and thoughtful than expected, with a warm side that left an impression." Kim Ah-young added, "When we were in situations where we had to create something, we took on different roles, showing a chemistry like a chef and assistant chefs, which was fun. I liked their candid and unpretentious nature."

Finally, regarding the unique viewing points of 'Alba-ro Vacance,' Lee Su-ji emphasized the 'chemistry of the four actors and healing amidst nature,' Jung Joon-won pointed to 'unexpected comedic moments,' Kang Yoo-seok highlighted the 'journey combining work and adventure,' and Kim Ah-young focused on 'our chemistry.'

'Alba-ro Vacance' is set to broadcast on MBC every Wednesday at 9 PM, starting on the 19th.

Netizens are expressing their anticipation, with comments like "The show I've been waiting for is finally airing!", "Lee Su-ji and Jung Joon-won together? It already sounds fun", "Zanzibar as the setting, I'm looking forward to the visuals", and "I'll definitely be tuning in!"
