Professor Kim Sang-wook, who shocked the public with his hospitalization due to being on the verge of a myocardial infarction, will share the harrowing details of that time on the tvN program 'You Quiz on the Block'.

On the 18th, Professor Kim took to his social media to announce his appearance. "I will be on 'You Quiz' this Wednesday. The staff mentioned that many people are curious about my health, which led to the invitation," he wrote.

He further explained, "News about my health spread quite widely, and so many people reached out to ask about my well-being. I thought it would be good to give an update on the show." He added, "I expected the atmosphere to be a bit somber, but it was such a fun time that I felt a little embarrassed."

Professor Kim was rushed to the emergency room during the Chuseok holiday last month due to sudden physical discomfort. He was diagnosed as being on the brink of a myocardial infarction and underwent emergency cardiovascular stent placement surgery while hospitalized in the intensive care unit.

Following the procedure, Professor Kim shared, "I had emergency cardiovascular stent surgery. My doctor said that even if a myocardial infarction had occurred, it wouldn't have been surprising." He reassured fans, "The procedure went well, and I am recovering quickly." He also expressed profound gratitude, "While in the ICU and ward, I was reminded of how hard so many people work and strive in hospitals. I am truly thankful to the medical staff who saved my life."

In a preview clip released for 'You Quiz on the Block', Professor Kim recalled the incident, stating, "I thought I just had indigestion or an upset stomach. When I went to the hospital, they told me I was moments away from a heart attack. I might not have been here today."
