Seohyun Appointed as Ambassador for Seoul National University Hospital, Expresses Honor

Singer and actress Seohyun has shared her feelings upon being appointed as an ambassador for Seoul National University Hospital.

On the 18th, Seohyun announced on her Instagram, "I have become an ambassador for Seoul National University Hospital." She expressed, "It is an honor to be able to join in warm sharing with the SNUH Foundation, which has been supporting treatment costs for patients in difficult financial situations for the past 20 years."

The SNUH Foundation also officially announced Seohyun's appointment on the same day. The foundation explained that Seohyun's diligent activities and public influence align well with the public interest values pursued by the foundation, and that her role as an ambassador will be crucial in enhancing the hospital's international standing and revitalizing the culture of giving.

Seohyun debuted in 2007 as a member of the global K-pop group Girls' Generation, demonstrating broad influence. She has also pursued an acting career, winning Rookie of the Year awards at the 2017 MBC Drama Awards and the 2022 KBS Drama Awards.

She expressed deep respect for the SNUH Foundation's long-standing efforts to support underprivileged patients and pledged her active participation in and support for the hospital's benevolent initiatives as an ambassador.
