H.O.T.'s Jang Woo-hyuk Confirms Relationship with Oh Chae-yi: 'She's My Woman!'
Jang Woo-hyuk, formerly of the iconic K-pop group H.O.T., has openly addressed his connection with actress Oh Chae-yi, stating that their relationship has moved beyond on-screen romance to private meetings.
A preview released on February 18th for SBS's 'Shinbar Sseugo Dolsing Four Men' featured Jang Woo-hyuk, alongside Mal Wang, Hyojung of Oh My Girl, and Bae Sang-hoon. In the clip, Jang Woo-hyuk confessed, "My dating cells started coming alive while I was taking husband classes." He had previously garnered attention for his chemistry with Oh Chae-yi on the Channel A show 'The Romance of the Modern Man: Husband Class'.
When asked by Lee Sang-min if they had met off-camera, Jang Woo-hyuk didn't hesitate to reply, "Of course," making it clear their connection was genuine and not for broadcast. However, when his close friend Tak Jae-hoon expressed doubt, saying, "I haven't seen it," Jang Woo-hyuk firmly stated, "I absolutely cannot show you."
Tak Jae-hoon then searched for Oh Chae-yi's photo and jokingly remarked, "She's totally my type." Jang Woo-hyuk immediately responded with a serious tone, "What are you talking about right now? Stop it." When Kim Jun-ho teased him about being so sensitive, Jang Woo-hyuk turned the atmosphere around with a single line: "Because she's my woman." This straightforward declaration revealed his true feelings for Oh Chae-yi.
The preview also highlighted other cast members' moments. Profiler Bae Sang-hoon was well-received as Tak Jae-hoon's "younger brother at 56," and YouTuber Mal Wang surprised the studio by admitting he maintained his virginity until age 28. Hyojung of Oh My Girl playfully flustered the 'Dolsing Four Men' members with her signature aegyo.
Korean netizens are reacting enthusiastically to Jang Woo-hyuk's bold and direct confession. Comments praise his straightforwardness, with many expressing support such as, "Jang Woo-hyuk is so cool!", "Lucky Oh Chae-yi~", and "A true romantic has appeared."
