NiziU Releases 3rd Japanese Album 'New Emotion,' Aiming for Gen Z with Title Track '♡Emotion'

JYP Entertainment's global girl group NiziU has officially released their third Japanese full-length album, 'New Emotion,' today (19th), signaling the start of their new promotional activities.

This new release marks NiziU's first full album in approximately 2 years and 4 months since their second full album, 'COCONUT,' in July 2023. The album features a total of 14 tracks, including the title song '♡Emotion.'

The title track '♡Emotion' captures the essence of approaching someone special through social media in the digital age. Since its pre-release of audio and music video on the 17th of last month, it has been gaining significant traction and resonating with Generation Z.

In addition to the title track, the album includes new songs like 'Come On Over,' 'That's Me,' 'Tip-Top,' and 'Happy day.' It also features six previously released tracks that have been well-loved by fans, such as 'YOAKE,' 'Shining Day,' 'RISE UP,' 'BELIEVE,' 'LOVE LINE (Japanese ver.),' and 'What if (Japanese ver.).'

A special touch is added with unit songs where members directly participated in lyric writing. The unit featuring Mako, Mayuka, and Rima, 'VILLAIN,' expresses a charismatic charm within a dark atmosphere. Rio, Maya, and Nina's unit song 'Too Much' highlights a confident and bold attitude, while Riku, Ayaka, and Miihi's 'Fairy Magic' is a lovely song about casting a spell on those who are worried.

NiziU is currently in the midst of their nationwide tour, 'NiziU Live with U 2025 "NEW EMOTION : Face to Face,"' spanning 32 shows across 21 cities in Japan. They are set to conclude the tour at the renowned Tokyo Budokan on the 22nd and 23rd. The final performance will also be accessible via live viewing in six overseas cities beyond Japan.

With their official 5th debut anniversary in Japan approaching on December 2nd, NiziU continues to expand their fanbase and shine brighter with their diverse activities.
