Comedian Kim Su-yong, who recently collapsed due to acute myocardial infarction, has personally shared an update on his recovery.
On the 18th, fellow comedian Heo Dong-hwan posted a screenshot of his conversation with Kim Su-yong on his personal social media, expressing his concern. Heo Dong-hwan wrote, "I was so shocked to see the news. I thought I was going to lose another precious person. I saw him a few months ago at Bucoppe," revealing his worry.
In the shared messages, Heo Dong-hwan asked Kim Su-yong, "Hyungnim!! Are you feeling a bit better? I was so surprised by the news and wanted to call, but I heard you're recovering, so I'm sending a text instead!! I sincerely wish for your speedy recovery." To this, Kim Su-yong replied, "I'm getting better, thank you," directly informing everyone of his condition.
Heo Dong-hwan also shared a friendly past photo with Kim Su-yong, adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.
Earlier, on the 14th, Kim Su-yong suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed while filming YouTube content in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. He was immediately attended to by paramedics on site, who administered CPR and transported him to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, he regained consciousness after treatment. According to his agency, Kim Su-yong has now been moved to a general ward and is focusing on his recovery.
