Singer-Songwriter Samui Returns After 5 Years with 2nd Full Album 'Dis/Balance', Featuring Car, the Garden & Shin Hae-gyeong

Singer-songwriter Samui is set to release her full-length album, marking her return approximately five years after her last full release.

Samui's second full album, 'Dis/Balance,' will be available on various music streaming platforms today (19th) at 6 PM.

The album carries the message of holding onto one's inherent light amidst a shaky era. It features 13 tracks exploring the process of realizing that one's own standard is found not in perfection, but within instability.

Notably, Car, the Garden lends his voice to the first title track, 'When Am I Always,' while Shin Hae-gyeong features on the second title track, 'Angelism,' creating significant musical synergy. A music video for 'When Am I Always (feat. Car, the Garden)' will be unveiled simultaneously with the album's release. Samui herself appears in the video, enhancing the song's immersive quality as she portrays a determination not to lose her light in a fluctuating world.

Samui has consistently conveyed messages about 'balance' through her previous EPs 'Um' and 'Yang.' She further expanded on this theme through collaborations with balancing artist Byun Nam-seok and her YouTube talk content 'Sayuggi: Finding Balance.' This new album is expected to complete the musical journey towards balance that began with last year's single 'Come Find Me.'
