D4vd (David, 20), the American singer-songwriter known for his collaborations with K-Pop artists, has reportedly been named a person of interest in the death of a teenage girl, according to local reports.

US entertainment outlet TMZ reported on November 18 (local time) that the LAPD investigation team is considering D4vd as a 'suspect' in the case of 15-year-old Celeste Rívas, whose body was found severely decomposed in the front trunk of a Tesla.

According to TMZ, an autopsy report has not yet been released. D4vd has not been officially named a 'suspect' in official records, and the LAPD has stated that an arrest is not imminent.

Nevertheless, investigators are reportedly focusing on the possibility of homicide.

On September 8, a foul odor complaint was received at a Hollywood vehicle storage facility in LA. Upon investigation, a badly damaged female body was discovered inside a Tesla registered to D4vd. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office officially identified the body as Celeste Rívas, who went missing in April of last year.

Following the discovery, suspicions surrounding the relationship between D4vd and Rívas quickly spread online. Eyewitness accounts placed Celeste at a party attended by D4vd. Rívas's family claimed her daughter's boyfriend's name was 'David,' and suspicions were reignited about the pair having matching 'Shhh...' tattoos.

Furthermore, an unreleased demo song titled 'Celeste' leaked on SoundCloud in 2023, intensifying speculation about their relationship.

The investigation team recently searched a rental property in the Hollywood Hills where D4vd resided, reportedly looking for blood evidence and electronic device records.

Following the incident, D4vd canceled all his US, European, and UK tour dates and has ceased social media activity.

D4vd garnered a global fanbase with hits like 'Romantic Homicide' and 'Here With Me.' He also collaborated with Stray Kids' Hyunjin on the track 'Always Love' in June, attracting significant attention from K-Pop fans.

Korean netizens have reacted with disbelief, stating "I can't believe this" and "I hope the truth comes out soon." Some also expressed shock, noting, "He had such a good image for K-Pop fans, this is devastating."
