LE SSERAFIM Conquers Tokyo Dome with Emotional Encore and Tears of Joy

K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, Hong Eun-chae) concluded their dream Tokyo Dome performances, marking a significant milestone with tears of overwhelming emotion.

The group held the encore concerts for their first world tour, ‘EASY CRAZY HOT,’ at the iconic Tokyo Dome on June 18th and 19th, finally gracing the venue of their dreams just over three years after their debut.

This world tour served as the grand finale to their 3-part project, which included their mini-albums ‘EASY’ (3rd mini-album), ‘CRAZY’ (4th mini-album), and ‘HOT’ (5th mini-album) released in March. At the Tokyo Dome shows, LE SSERAFIM captivated their fandom, ‘FEARNOT,’ with a spectacular parade of hit songs and previously unperformed tracks, all delivered with flawless performances. Over the two days, LE SSERAFIM garnered approximately 80,000 fans.

Towards the end of the June 19th concert, the members became emotional, shedding tears as they shared their feelings about achieving the Tokyo Dome milestone. Huh Yun-jin recalled a particularly memorable moment: "I have a vivid memory," she shared. "Actually, before the Tokyo Dome concert was announced, we heard separately that performing at Tokyo Dome might not be possible. It was during a waiting room break between schedules."

She continued, "At that moment, we were told, ‘Everyone, Tokyo Dome might be possible for our next tour encore.’ I couldn't really believe it, but I burst into tears as soon as I heard it." Yun-jin explained, "There were many reasons for those tears, but perhaps you know the joy when someone recognizes the value of something you had forgotten, when it’s rediscovered?"

"It could be a bright aspect of myself that I had forgotten due to life's hardships, or happy old memories, or even dreams I was too shy to speak of," she confessed. "For me, going through some difficult times, it was a ray of hope, even if it didn't feel real."

"It felt like a message of comfort saying, ‘You don’t have to be ashamed, your passion is still valid, you can still dream’," she stated. "I found strength imagining that no matter how hard it gets, we will overcome it, and we are in a very special place with our FEARNOT."

Yun-jin revealed, "The moment it truly sank in was yesterday during the ‘HOT’ performance. It felt like a declaration to FEARNOT, saying ‘We’ve overcome it all, we are still hot, and we will continue to be hot’," she shared, tears welling up.

Wiping away her tears, she added, "I believe LE SSERAFIM and FEARNOT share a connection that doesn’t need words. I think yesterday and today, our feelings were the same. Thank you so, so much for leading us this far."

She especially turned to her fellow members: "I want to tell my members, who waited for and led each other despite different paces, that you worked so hard. Thank you for dreaming the same dream with me. Let’s dream even bigger dreams together in the future,” she promised, adding a heartwarming touch to the finale.
