LE SSERAFIM's Sakura Tears Up Recounting 14 Years as an Idol at Tokyo Dome Encore Concert

Sakura, a member of the group LE SSERAFIM, became emotional as she reflected on her 14-year idol career during the encore concert at the Tokyo Dome.

The '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT' ENCORE IN TOKYO DOME' held on October 19th marked the final stop of the group's highly successful first world tour, which began in Incheon in April and captivated audiences across Asia and North America.

During the encore stage, member Kazuha expressed her gratitude to the fans, describing the time spent on stage as dreamlike. She shared a touching story about a father who attended the concert with his daughter, who is diligently practicing ballet. Kazuha related to this, recalling her own experience of attending performances with her father during her ballet days.

Sakura, performing at the Tokyo Dome again after 11 years, shared profound feelings about the venue. "Eleven years ago, when I was last at the Tokyo Dome, I didn't fully grasp the significance of this stage and only saw the backs of the senior artists," she recalled. "Standing here again after 11 years, so many emotions surge, and I feel like I can now understand how the seniors must have felt back then." She candidly confessed, "I've been an idol for 14 years now, and honestly, there were many difficult times. I've even wondered, 'What if I hadn't chosen the path of being an idol?'"

She revealed that while her 14 years as an idol brought many dreams to fruition, it also came with significant sacrifices. "I've met so many people and experienced many farewells," she said, tears welling up. "But if overcoming those hardships leads to this view today, I believe I would choose the path of an idol again, even if I were reborn." Her heartfelt words were met with thunderous applause from the fans.

Sakura extended messages of support to the fans, saying, "Thank you to all the fans who made me, someone who was nobody from Kagoshima at 13, into this wonderful idol." She added, "I'm sure some of you here today are also facing challenges or enduring difficult moments. But just as light shines brighter because of shadows, I hope you see your hardships as preparation for greater happiness, and I wish you all a joyful and peaceful time. And through those days, I hope LE SSERAFIM can be even a small source of strength for your well-being."

Hong Eunchae also conveyed her happiness and gratitude towards the fans, stating, "All the moments we've run towards this point flashed before my eyes, and it was such a happy time, I wondered if it was okay to be this happy. I don't think I'll ever forget this day we've longed for so much."

With the Tokyo Dome encore concert, LE SSERAFIM concluded their first world tour, '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT', which spanned across 19 cities and connected with global fans.
