Hyun Bin & Son Ye-jin Score 'Couple Popularity Award' at 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards

Power couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin shared the stage and the spotlight as they jointly received the Popular Star Award at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

The prestigious ceremony, held on the 19th at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, was emceed by actors Lee Je-hoon and Han Ji-min for the second consecutive year.

This year's Popular Star Award, sponsored by Chungjungone, recognized Park Jin-young for 'Dream', Hyun Bin for 'Harbin', Son Ye-jin for 'Unfiltered', and Im Yoon-a for 'The Devil's Deal'. However, it was Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, a real-life married couple, who truly captured the audience's attention with their 'couple's joint award' moment.

Presenting the award, MC Lee Je-hoon remarked, "This is the first time we've seen a married couple captured in a two-shot on stage like this. You look so good together," drawing laughter and cheers from the crowd.

Hyun Bin expressed his gratitude, stating, "I believe many fans voted to place this award in my hand. Thank you so much to them." Son Ye-jin beamed as she added, "I don't think I'll ever forget this. It's such an honor to receive this Popularity Award with my husband. Thank you to the organizers and fans for giving us such an unforgettable memory."

She then playfully leaned into Hyun Bin, striking a 'V' pose together, showcasing their natural and affectionate bond.

When asked about receiving an award together again, Hyun Bin reminisced, "I think the last time we received an award together was for the drama 'Crash Landing on You'. To be on stage holding an award together again today makes me so happy. Thank you."

Lee Je-hoon chimed in with a joke, "So, are you two going to place two trophies side-by-side at home now? I'm so envious," adding to the lighthearted atmosphere.
