
Lee Sung-min Dedicates Blue Dragon Award to Co-star Park Hee-soon
Actor Lee Sung-min was honored with the Best Supporting Actor award at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
The ceremony, held on the 19th at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, recognized Lee Sung-min for his outstanding performance in the film 'Bail Out'.
"It would be a lie to say I had no expectations. I always used to attend just to clap," Lee Sung-min shared during his acceptance speech. "I truly thought this was an unrewardable role, so I am even more grateful."
He continued, "Above all, I owe this award to Director Park Chan-wook, who gifted me the wonderful character of Gu Beom-mo." He also expressed gratitude to his fellow cast members Park Ye-jin, Lee Byung-hun, and Jang Hye-jin.
Notably, as Lee Sung-min was leaving the stage, he returned to the microphone and exclaimed, "I thought Park Hee-soon would be nominated. I'm sorry and thankful that he wasn't. I love you," eliciting laughter and emotion from the audience.
