LE SSERAFIM Conquers Tokyo Dome: First-Ever Concert Draws 80,000 Fans, Solidifying 'Performance Powerhouse' Status
K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM has successfully wrapped up their highly anticipated two-day concert at the Tokyo Dome, attracting approximately 80,000 fans. The spectacular 200-minute performance served as a testament to the group's flawless teamwork and captivating stage presence.
From March 18-19, LE SSERAFIM, comprised of Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae, held their ‘2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’ ENCORE IN TOKYO DOME’. This encore concert marked the grand finale of their extensive first world tour, which spanned 27 shows across 18 cities in Asia and North America.
Even before the show commenced, the area surrounding the Tokyo Dome was buzzing with excited fans eager to support LE SSERAFIM. Attendees immersed themselves in a festive atmosphere, singing along to the group's hits and filming dance challenge videos. The immense popularity of LE SSERAFIM in Japan was further evident as five major sports newspapers dedicated their front pages to the group's Tokyo Dome debut, leading many fans to flock to convenience stores near the venue to purchase copies.
As anticipation reached its peak, a triangular LED structure shaped like flames opened, revealing the five members and igniting thunderous cheers from the audience. The group kicked off the concert with a powerful performance of ‘Ash’, a track from their fifth mini-album released in March. They continued to mesmerize the crowd with a diverse range of performances, including ‘HOT’, ‘Come Over’, ‘Swan Song’, and ‘Pearlies (My oyster is the world)’. Engaging with fans directly, the members traversed the venue on moving platforms, eliciting an overwhelmingly positive response.
The concert reached its zenith during a segment featuring consecutive performances of new song ‘SPAGHETTI (Member ver.)’, ‘Eve, Psyche & The Bluebeard’s wife’, ‘CRAZY’, and ‘1-800-hot-n-fun’. The moment the familiar intro of ‘SPAGHETTI (Member ver.)’ and last year's title track ‘CRAZY’ filled the arena, the venue erupted into a frenzy. Lightning-shaped lighting and intricate laser effects created a stunning visual spectacle. The members showcased their tight-knit synchronization and seamless teamwork with a perfectly executed dance break, adding a new dimension to their performance. A parade of their hit songs, including ‘FEARLESS’, ‘UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)’, and ‘ANTIFRAGILE’, further electrified the audience with their high-energy delivery. Adding a touch of cuteness, they later collaborated with Sanrio characters My Melody and Kuromi for a rendition of ‘Kawaii (Prod. Gen Hoshino)’.
Towards the end of the concert, LE SSERAFIM expressed their heartfelt gratitude, stating, “We wanted to show everyone here how passionately we perform. Being with FEARNOT (fandom name) has given us hope that we can achieve even greater dreams. Thanks to you, we believe we can dream big. We want to continue realizing the grandest dreams and lead you to the best places.” They vowed to be an artist their fans would never be ashamed of and shared their appreciation for their fellow members, saying, “I’m truly thankful to the members who have run towards the same dream with me up to this point.”
LE SSERAFIM is set to continue their tour's momentum by appearing at Japan's biggest year-end indoor music festival, ‘Countdown Japan 25/26’, on the 28th. Their single ‘SPAGHETTI’ recently surpassed 100,000 cumulative shipments in Japan just four days after its release, earning them their fifth consecutive 'Gold' certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan – a first for a 4th-generation K-pop girl group. With their Tokyo Dome performance, LE SSERAFIM has once again proven their reputation as the 'top girl group performer' in Japan, solidifying their leading position in the market.
Korean netizens lauded the group's achievement, commenting things like 'Le Sserafim's first Tokyo Dome concert, so amazing!' and 'Their performance is always top-notch, as expected.' Many also expressed pride in the group's growing international influence, noting, 'This concert truly shows how popular they are in Japan.'
