BTS Jungkook Faces Repeated Home Intrusion Attempts; Artist Issues Stern Warning
Jungkook, a member of the global sensation BTS, has once again fallen victim to attempted home intrusion, raising concerns about his personal safety.
According to reports on November 19th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul is currently investigating a Japanese woman in her 50s, identified as 'A,' for attempted trespassing.
Ms. A is suspected of repeatedly pressing the lock on Jungkook's front door multiple times between November 12th and 14th. The report was filed on November 14th, and Ms. A's current whereabouts, including whether she has returned to Japan, are yet to be confirmed.
Police are in the process of gathering facts through an initial investigation, including interviewing the victim.
Previously, Jungkook addressed the issue during a live broadcast, expressing his distress. He stated, "As you saw in the news, another person visited my home and was apprehended. Please, don't come. Really, don't come. Understand?" He added, "If you come, I will just lock you up. You'll just be taken away (by the police). I have secured all the evidence. It's all recorded (on CCTV), so if you want to be taken away, come."
This incident marks the third reported attempt at home intrusion against Jungkook. In August, a South Korean woman in her 40s trespassed onto his property, and in June, a Chinese woman in her 30s was arrested for repeatedly entering Jungkook's home password. The latter case resulted in a non-prosecution disposition in September for attempted trespassing.
Fans expressed concern over the repeated security breaches, commenting, 'It's heartbreaking to see Jungkook go through this again,' 'When will these stalkers learn?', and 'The artist's safety should be the top priority.'
