Tzuyang, a popular mukbang YouTuber with 12.7 million subscribers, has directly addressed rumors surrounding her, including her monthly income and claims of being Chinese.

Appearing as a guest on Comedian Park Na-rae's YouTube channel 'Narae Sik,' Tzuyang spoke candidly about misunderstandings and fake news. When asked about her income, she stated, "It's about the equivalent of a foreign car each month." However, she clarified, "There are many expenses, so the net profit is very different," explaining the realities of content production. She revealed that she currently produces content with 10 employees in a company structure.

Furthermore, Tzuyang strongly refuted accusations of being Chinese and claims that Chinese capital is behind her 12 million subscribers. "I was so bewildered, I could only laugh," she said. She explained her decision to confront these rumors, stating, "I thought I had to accept some level of scrutiny as my job relies on public interest, but I wondered if I had to endure false information that crossed the line. That's why I decided to fight back." This stance aligns with her previous appearance at a parliamentary audit to address cyber-reckless issues.

She also shared her hurt over comments like 'acting naive' following her attendance at the audit, admitting she chose to "just not look" at the continuous creation of false narratives.

Having started her YouTube career in 2018 and rapidly gaining popularity, Tzuyang concluded the broadcast by affirming her determination: "I will not be swayed by fake news and will continue to fight."

Netizens expressed support for Tzuyang's brave statements, commenting, "Thank you for speaking honestly, Tzuyang," "Fake news is really serious, I support you, Tzuyang," and "I'll keep cheering you on!"
