'Change Street' Unveils Japanese First Lineup Featuring Ai Takahashi from Morning Musume
The global music variety show 'Change Street' has heightened anticipation by revealing its first wave of Japanese artists, following the earlier announcement of its star-studded Korean lineup.
'Change Street,' a major project commemorating the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Japan, is set to premiere on ENA channel on December 20th. The show offers a novel concept where leading artists from both Korea and Japan immerse themselves in each other's cultures and languages to connect through music.
Previously, the show confirmed a spectacular roster of Korean artists including Heo Young-ji of KARA, Yoon San-ha of ASTRO, Hui of PENTAGON, HYNN (Park Hye-won), Lee Dong-hwi, Lee Sang-yi, Jung Ji-so, Wheein of MAMAMOO, Lee Seung-gi, Ryeowook of Super Junior, Chung Ha, and Taehyun of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, showcasing the program's grand scale.
The unveiled Japanese first lineup features Ai Takahashi, an alumna of the iconic Japanese idol group Morning Musume; REINI, a rising artist active as a singer, model, and actress; Ai Tomioka, who is gaining popularity in Korea through activities like her solo concert and drama OST releases; DJ KOO, a member of the legendary 90s co-ed group TRF and a symbolic national DJ in Japan; and KENJI03, the main vocalist and guitarist of the famous Tokyo-based rock band BACK ON, also known as the husband of Japan's national singer Koda Kumi.
These artists, each bringing unique colors and talents, are expected to open a new chapter in Korea-Japan music exchange. Excitement is mounting for this valuable journey where stories originating from different cities converge into a single emotional experience on one stage.
'Change Street' will broadcast every Saturday at 9:30 PM KST starting December 20th on ENA channel.
Korean netizens are reacting enthusiastically, with comments like 'The Japanese lineup is amazing too! I'm excited to see the chemistry with the Korean artists,' 'Looks like it'll be super fun already! Can't wait to watch,' and 'It seems even more meaningful as a cultural exchange program.'
