Former ZE:A member Taeheon has shared a challenging experience from his first day working as a taxi driver, drawing sympathy from fans.

On May 18th, Taeheon uploaded a video to his YouTube channel, 'Next Taeheon,' titled 'ZE:A's Taeheon, Mentally Shaken by First Drunk Passenger… Why the Sudden Banmal? The Shocking Reason He Drove for 5 Hours Straight Before Turning on the Red Taxi Sign.' The video documented his new career as a taxi driver.

Taeheon initially charmed viewers with his polite and attentive service, asking passengers about lighting and temperature preferences. He encountered foreign tourists and even a fan who recognized him from his idol days. To the fan who recognized him, Taeheon expressed his delight, saying, 'This is the first time someone has asked me today,' and politely engaged in conversation, adding, 'I wonder if it's rude for me to initiate conversation?' He also spoke optimistically about his former groupmates, mentioning, 'Kwanghee is busy right now, and so is Park Hyungsik. Many of my friends are doing well. I think I'll be next.'

However, the mood shifted when two inebriated passengers boarded later in the video. The passengers displayed rudeness, issuing commands like 'Just start driving' in banmal (informal Korean) and causing confusion by changing the destination midway through the ride.

After safely dropping off the passengers, Taeheon commented with a wry smile, 'It was a bit heartbreaking because the passengers were a bit too intoxicated. But since this is also part of the process of improvement, I'm doing well today.' He began his shift around 6:30 PM the previous day and finished around 1:20 AM the next morning, covering 105 km in approximately 7 hours.

A humorous incident occurred at the end when the taxi's emergency light accidentally turned on, emitting a siren sound. Taeheon, still a novice taxi driver, had mistakenly pressed the 'emergency' button near the handle. This latest endeavor adds to Taeheon's diverse work experiences, which include roles as a Coupang Man, working at a Chinese restaurant, construction sites, and various delivery jobs since his idol career.

Following the video's release, online communities and YouTube comments flooded with supportive messages such as 'Taeheon, you worked so hard!' 'It's good to see you trying your best even though the job is tough,' and 'Looking forward to the next video!'
