BTS's Jin Heads to the Big Screen with 'SEOKJIN' Movie This Year-End

Jin, a member of the global sensation BTS, is set to grace movie theaters this year-end with his solo fan meeting tour film, '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR THE MOVIE.'

On December 20th at 10 PM, Jin announced the upcoming release through the official BTS SNS channels, unveiling the main poster for '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR THE MOVIE.' This cinematic endeavor captures the live performances from his fan meeting tour '#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in GOYANG,' held on June 28th and 29th at the Goyang Stadium Auxiliary Gymnasium.

The movie will premiere exclusively at CGV in South Korea on December 31st, offering fans a special year-end treat. Viewers can look forward to a diverse range of performances, including Jin's tracks from his first solo album 'Happy' and his second mini-album 'Echo,' all delivered with a live band. The film also revisits the interactive elements of the fan meeting, where Jin shared laughter and fun moments with his fandom, ARMY, breaking down the barriers between the stage and the audience.

Behind-the-scenes glimpses, including pre-show preparations and post-show interviews, will offer an intimate look at Jin's journey. Adding to the excitement, exclusive intro and cookie scenes available only in theaters will further heighten anticipation.

Jin previously completed his fan meeting tour across 10 cities for 20 shows, concluding with an encore performance in October. Notably, his concerts in Goyang, Chiba (Japan), and Osaka sold out completely. The Osaka show at Kyocera Dome was a 'perfect sell-out,' even including seats with limited views and those on the highest tiers. His global ticket-selling power was further cemented by being the first Korean solo artist to perform at London's O2 Arena, drawing the largest audience for a Korean artist at the Anaheim Honda Center in the U.S., and achieving a full house at the Dallas American Airlines Center, a first for a Korean solo artist.
