Lee Seung-gi Shares Humorous Sibling Anecdote, Revealed to Have Gifted Parents Multi-Billion Won Townhouse

Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi has drawn laughter from fans by sharing a humorous anecdote involving his younger sister.

During his appearance on SBS Power FM's 'Hwangje Sung's Emperor Power' on the 20th, Lee Seung-gi recounted a funny incident from his school days.

He revealed, "My sister, back when she didn't know I was her older brother, had a friend tell her, 'You really resemble Lee Seung-gi.' Apparently, she vehemently denied it, saying, 'Why would I resemble him?'" This story elicited chuckles from the listeners.

Following his lighthearted family chat on the radio, Lee Seung-gi is also garnering attention for his recent real estate activities.

According to a report from Woman Sense on the 19th, Lee Seung-gi gifted a luxurious townhouse he had owned for about 10 years in Shinhyeon-dong, Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province, to his parents in August.

Lee Seung-gi purchased the property in 2016 for approximately 1.33 billion Korean Won. Given that a similar property in the same complex was recently sold for around 2.6 billion Korean Won, the gifted townhouse is believed to be valued at a comparable market price.

Lee Seung-gi has continued his active real estate investments even after marriage. Earlier this year, he purchased a property in Seongbuk-dong, Seoul, for approximately 5.6 billion Korean Won. Last year, he acquired land in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, spanning 187 pyeong (approx. 618 sqm) for 9.4 billion Korean Won, where he is currently constructing a new detached house.

It is also reported that he and his wife, actress Lee Da-in, have settled into their newlywed home in a high-end villa in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on a lease deposit of 10.5 billion Korean Won.

Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi is currently hosting JTBC's 'Sing Again 4' and recently released his new song 'By Your Side,' actively pursuing his music career.
