HuhGak & Lim Han-byeol Concerts Canceled Abruptly Due to Promoter's Breach of Contract
Singer HuhGak and Lim Han-byeol have abruptly canceled their highly anticipated concerts due to the concert promoter's failure to fulfill contractual obligations, leaving fans deeply disappointed.
HuhGak's agency, OS Project, announced the cancellation of his national tour concert 'Gongyeon-gak: Year-And' via their official social media on the 21st. The agency stated, "We officially announce that the '2025-26 HuhGak National Tour Concert 'Gongyeon-gak: Year-And'', scheduled to begin on November 28, 2025, has been unavoidably canceled in its entirety due to the concert promoter's unilateral inability to fulfill the contract."
The agency explained the reason for cancellation, saying, "We made our best efforts to ensure the event proceeded smoothly, but due to the concert promoter's significant breach of contract, we determined that further operation of the concert is impossible." They added, "We deeply apologize for delivering this news to the audience who were looking forward to the scheduled performances. All tickets purchased will be canceled and fully refunded. Please check the ticketing site and the concert promoter's subsequent announcements for detailed refund information."
Earlier on the same day, Lim Han-byeol also canceled his year-end concert 'Christmas Star', set to begin on December 20, due to similar contract issues with the concert promoter. This leaves HuhGak with the unfortunate notice of cancellation approximately one week before his concert was slated to start.
HuhGak shared the notice on his social media, bowing his head and saying, "I am truly sorry to everyone who has been waiting." Lim Han-byeol also posted a cryptic message, "ㅈㅉ ㅅㅅㅎㄱ ㅉㅈㄴㄷ", which appears to convey his frustration, interpreted as "Truly upsetting and irritating."
Fans expressed their dismay with comments like "This is so absurd and upsetting," "I was looking forward to it, what is this situation?" and "The singers shouldn't be the only ones apologizing; the responsible promoter needs to explain properly," directing their frustration towards the concert promoter.
